Document Translation

Natural Languages leverages both sophisticated translating software and native speaking human translators to ensure your project is translation accurately and effectively. We express the nuances of your specified language and culture that only a human can capture.

Federal, state, and municipal authorities will require your sensitive documents to be translated into English by a certified and authorized translator. The translation must be certified and notarized to meet both federal and state requirements. These regulations ensure that sensitive documents are translated by a reputable company employing certified translators.

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)
If you are starting the U.S. immigration process, applying to an American university, or pursuing a career opportunity in the United States, certain legal or official documents will need to be translated into English. These documents may include birth certificates, academic transcripts, financial statements, property records, and others, depending on the requirements. Our translators are highly experienced with the USCIS procedures and requirements, ensuring accurate and compliant translations.

Identification or Driver’s License
If you are seeking to obtain an identification or a driver’s license in the United States, but your current ID or license is in another language, the Motor Vehicle Commission will not accept it as a valid form of identification. You will be required to have your ID or driver’s license translated, certified, and notarized.

Birth Certificates
In the United States, birth certificates serve as official proof of an individual’s age, citizenship, and identity. They are required for obtaining a Social Security number, applying for a passport, enrolling in schools, securing a driver’s license or employment, and applying for various other benefits. Birth certificates must be translated into English for these purposes.

Death Certificates
Typically, a death certificate is required by the probate court or when applying for Social Security or life insurance benefits. Additionally, for transferring property or settling other estate matters, a death certificate in English must be provided. If your death certificate is in another language, we can provide the necessary translation.

Academic Transcripts
Universities in the United States require academic transcripts in English when applying or transferring. These documents serve as official proof of your academic achievements and qualifications.

Immunization Records
If you are new to the United States and seeking medical care, your immunization record may be required by your healthcare provider. This record helps verify which vaccine-preventable diseases you are protected against and may reduce the need for additional immunizations or tests.

United States Healthcare Medical Records
There has been a growing influx of patients coming to the United States for healthcare, particularly in specialized areas such as cancer care. We have received numerous medical records that require translation. These records are crucial for your doctor to review your medical history, clinical findings, diagnostic test results, preoperative and postoperative care, as well as your medication history and current treatment.

International Healthcare
The same applies to American citizens seeking medical care abroad. English documents will need to be translated into the relevant language to be accessible to their medical team.

Our Translators

Our translators are all certified by the American Translators Association or the International Medical Interpreters Association. Achieving certification involves years of rigorous training and education, and certification is maintained through the completion of Continuing Education Units (CEUs). This ongoing education ensures that our translators remain current with industry developments and comply with HIPAA and PHI confidentiality requirements. Certification also upholds accountability, as members of national organizations must adhere to strict ethical standards. Any breach of these standards can lead to formal complaints and jeopardize their certification. The certification process is costly, and our translators approach their profession with the utmost seriousness, similar to how doctors and Certified Public Accountants must uphold their licenses and certifications.

Natural Languages translating software features a complex memory translation bank that captures and automates the recurrence of industry specific terminology – particularly in the healthcare (cancer and research & development focus), legal, and education sectors – for high quality translations regardless of subject matter.
